My General Thoughts: This is the second draft I was given. I am liking this one more. There is more information that make the story telling better. I am liking Kai better in this version. He has more depth.  Poor Brandy. I think I like Damon but I always end up for the villain. I love surprise weddings. Didn’t see that ending.

What I Did Like:

  • Dove and Hunter have great chemistry.
  • Dove has a good sense of independence and is currently not behaving like a typical supernatural-female lead
  • Hunter has a good range of emotions. I am so happy that he isn’t a dark brooding and emotionless.
  • Good pacing.
  • Heated Romance scene was written well.
  • Soft Romance scenes was written well.

What I Didn’t Like:

  • Chapter five was a bit confusing due to the points of view changing. It made an injury scene a little oddly pictured in my mind.

Would I Re-Read: Yes
Would I Recommend: Yes
Final Thoughts: The Werewolf Wedding is a great first installment. I enjoyed the great dialogue between all the characters. This work is more dialogue heavy vs description. It does have a moderate amount of description.  I like that there is a clear different between the witches, werewolves, and vampires. I am getting a supernatural and romance vibe from this episode. I am excited for the next episode. The surprise wedding was on point and totally up my alley. I really like when as a reader I can ride along with the excitement and feel the pure joy the character does in the big reveal.  The wedding night was well written but I am worried about Dove though! She’s probably wishing she’d not withdrawn from her powers. I’m excited to see if she starts working to get back in tune with them in future episodes.
