Enter Misaki, perhaps the most innocent and most sincere young lady there ever was. It’s almost inconceivable that she could be a vampire. And with her powers as a vampire, she could easily entice any human to do her biding… but she chooses not to. Especially when it comes to Kuroe, a young author who has a deep running past with vampires.
Hi Blogtobers!
I wanted to share with you all a graphic novel that I read for my Spooky Bingo! Above is the summary for the graphic novel. It was a really interesting. The cover is simple but nice and the illustration inside is wonderfully drawn. I could see that the target audience was young girls. This series doesn’t mention how old Misaki’s body is, but I am thinking she might be at least a teenager. The vampire that she is hosting is older and is different from the other vampires that she encounters. For them being a vampire is who they are but for her Misaki is a soul different from the vampire one inside of her. We do not get any further mention of this division. However, we are shown her increasing infatuation for her partner Kuroe. He does appear to be a bit older and is an author. I do find this funny that the author is primary occupation for these kinds of novels. There is some kind of investigation element to the book kind of like the series Supernatural on the CW network but that wasn’t made entirely clear. Anyways, the novel was setup like short episode skits. So it didn’t offer much as a first volume. I would continue on but I am not looking to start a graphic novel series. I would give this a three point five stars.
