How did I hear about it?
I saw this book trailer on my facebook feed. I watched the trailer and I thought it was super cool. I’ve always loved fictional books based on Salem and I love the history of Salem. So I went ahead and ordered this book an ebook of amazon.

I like the cover of this book. It gives me that fall rainy feel that I always imagine for Salem based books. I think the title is also a good fit for the this book.

I love this book so much! I was so excited about reading this book. Between the summary and the trailer, I had high expectations that this book certainly delivered. The book is about the teenage descendant of Cotton Mather who finds herself going back Salem where events unfold that she never would have thought of. I liked Mather’s version of ghosts remind me of Moana’s grandmother’s ghost. I like their corporal abilities. I like the chemistry between Jaxon and Sam plus the chemistry between Elijah and Sam. I honestly didn’t see the villain coming for this book. It is very well written. I love the mixture of family history, factual history, and her leisure she took with some of it. I recommend this book 5/5 stars.
