This or That Tag!

I saw this lovely tag on my friend Adrianna’s blog. It looked fun so I decided to do it! She didn’t have credit for the tags creator so that’s why I don’t have one either. So without anything else to say here are my answers!

Reading on the Bed or the Couch?
I prefer to read on the bed. I am a natural wiggle worm. So I can flop around and not fall off. 😀

Male Main Character or Female Main Character?
I prefer female main characters. Their stories seem to have more depth to me. I think
it is just where there is a lot of tall, darkm and broody stereotypes across all genres for male main characters.

Sweet Snacks or Salty Snacks while reading?
I prefer salty snacks like nuts and dried fruit while I am reading.

Trilogies or Quartets?
Quartets. I say this because most of the time in trilogies authors aren’t able to deliver all that they wanted in three books. Four gives them the ability to try to do that.
Reading First Person or Third Person POV?
I lean more towards third person pov. I think that you get more of scope from the characters. Sometimes with first person you miss that.
Reading at Night, or in the Morning?
I usually try during the morning and day because I have to work full time. If I was to read at night then I fall into the rabbit hole of just one more chapter.

Libraries or Bookstores?
I prefer Bookstores because they generally have the books that I want. Libraries are half publicly funded and government where I am. Also the library chooses what books they purchase based on the reading majority of the members.
Books that make you laugh or cry?
I would have to say cry. I love the angsty in story lines. It honestly makes me love the characters more to know they’ve suffered just a bit.
Black book covers or white covers?
I love me some black covers! They make all the illustrations stand out more and black is one of my favorite colors besides red.

Character driven or Plot driven?
This is the one time that I say both! Sometimes I can live with a book if I don’t like the Main Character. The best example for me would be Bella from Twilight. I became more interested in the minor characters story lines after halfway through book two.
